1. Handled in accordance with National Cheng Kung University’s letter No. 1140800510 dated February 17, 2015.

2. The application period is two to six months, and each school can recommend up to three candidates.

3. If you wish to apply to be a teacher, please prepare all relevant application materials and submit them to the Research and Development Department before April 8 for review.

4. Please follow the following procedures to process your application:

(1) The length of service of each applicant shall be calculated based on the provisions of the "Guidelines for Teachers and Researchers Going Abroad for Lectures, Research or Further Studies" of the University. The upper limit of the number of applicants from each department shall be combined with the number of short-term researchers abroad.

(2) Applicants who intend to apply for this program during the winter and summer vacations may be exempted from the discussion by the department (institute) and the college's academic evaluation committee, and are not subject to the restrictions of the service years and the upper limit of the number of people in the preceding paragraph. However, they must first obtain the consent of the department (institute) director and the department (institute) must sign and request the approval of the dean of the college for recommendation.

(3) Applicants who intend to use vacation or public leave to apply for this case must first be discussed and approved by the department (institute) teaching evaluation committee and the college teaching evaluation committee, and submit a leave certificate from the service unit.

(IV) The applicant’s department (institute) shall prepare and submit a petition for review and approval by this office and the Personnel Department.

(5) There is a quota for this application. If more than three teachers in the school apply, this office will submit it to the academic review group of the school's teaching evaluation committee for review and approval, and then write a letter to recommend the application in the name of the school.

(VI) According to regulations, the application must first be reviewed by each school. If no more than three teachers in the school submit an application, the application will be submitted to the head meeting of this department for review and scoring, and a scoring sheet will be completed.

(VII) This application must be submitted to the Research and Development Office before April 8, 2015, for submission to the school for review.

5. Submit one copy of the letter of recommendation, assignment guide and application form for the Taiwan University System's cross-school short-term research awards.
