1. The project is carried out in accordance with the "Eco Plus! Ecological Inclusion Project" jointly organized by the Biodiversity Research Institute of the Ministry of Agriculture and Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co., Ltd.

2. This program aims to recognize and reward individuals and institutions that have made outstanding contributions in the field of biodiversity conservation and research, in order to acknowledge their achievements and encourage continued efforts. At the same time, through scholarships and proposal reward systems, scholars and researchers are encouraged to engage in innovative and influential research, further strengthening the scientific basis and practical application of biodiversity conservation policies. We also hope to promote the attention and support of all sectors of society for biodiversity conservation and promote the long-term goal of mainstreaming biodiversity.

3. Scholarship and proposal award application information: Application period: February 15 to March 15, 2025, through the website https://ecoplus-biodiversityaward.com.

IV. Award categories and application conditions:

(1) The New Talent Award is applicable to: biodiversity conservation-related clubs in domestic universities and colleges. Requirements: Those who have outstanding performance in biodiversity conservation practices and have concrete achievements.

(2) Elite Award is available to those who are currently enrolled in a doctoral or master's program, or within 2 years of graduation. Requirements: Engage in research related to biodiversity conservation in Taiwan and have outstanding research results.

(III) Eligibility of the Proposal Award: Eligibility of the Proposal Award: Domestic colleges and universities or public research institutions. Conditions: Submit innovative proposals for biodiversity research, and TSMC will provide project grants to support the research.
